On September 22, 2017 we created a GoFundMe Preserving Salem Chapel campaign with the hope of raising $100,000 for emergency restoration work. The campaign closed on January 12, 2020.

We wish to thank our local St. Catharines newspaper, "The Standard" for publishing our story. The news article generated national and international attention and raised the profile of the church. We also want to thank our generous donors and those who shared our fundraising campaign. Thanks to you $102,635.00 was raised. The restoration work will continue in the spring of 2020.

On Wednesday, January 8, 2020 our bank balance reflected $83,680.29. Please bear in mind that a small percentage of the online donations is automatically removed by Go Fund Me for the use of their crowd funding platform.
